Chapter Members in the SPOTLIGHT

Arkansas has a new State Coordinator for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The State Coordinator is appointed by the Southwest Regional Director of our sorority. We are proud to congratulate Cheryl Powell, a hard working member in our chapter, who has been appointed to this position. We know she will do a great job for Arkansas and represent the Little Rock Alumnae chapter well.
Congratulations to Tracey Moore, who received Advisor of the Year, at the 2011 Regional Conference.  She is Tau Pi’s graduate advisor, located on the Arkansas Baptist campus. Lottie Shackelford received the distinctive Daughters of Barbara Jordan honor at the Social Action Luncheon also at the 2011 Regional Conference.
Congratulations are extended to Marie McNeal who retired from the Little Rock School District and Vicki Weems who retired from the Department of Human Services this summer.
Special appreciation and recognition was extended to Katherine Mitchell  for her years of service with the Little Rock School District School Board.  Congratulations to Angie Moore, she recently passed the Arkansas State Bar.  Lasandra Rogers recently received a MBA degree, with an emphasis in business and ethics this summer from Harding University.
